Anti Aging Product Testers Available For Following Products

Hello Makeup Geeks! Today I am going to share with you my top 10 favorite skin care products. For anyone who follows me, you know how important my skin care routine is to me. I have extremely sensitive skin and now that I am in my 30’s I’ve decided to age as gracefully as possible. 🙂  I’ve tested so many skin care items, some good, and others not so much. So here’s what I’ve found to be the top 10 skin care products!

NIA 241.  NIA 24 Skin Strengthening Complex – The NIA 24 Skin Strengthening Complex is made to improve the overall moisture in your skin, as it helps prevent and treat acne. As some of you might already know my skin is very acne prone but can sometimes be very dry. This product moisturizes my skin without causing break-outs and leaves it soft without feeling greasy. This skin strengthening complex also contains Niacin which is effective in promoting healthy skin.

L'Oreal2.  L’Oreal Age Perfect Glow Renewal Facial Oil – The L’Oreal Age Perfect Glow Renewal Facial oil is made to replenish and hydrate deep into the skin, where most moisturizers cant go. This product is ideal for those of you with very dry and sensitive skin. I tend to use this product over the driest parts of my face and it leaves my skin feeling healthy and nourished. Some of the key ingredients in this oil include: English Lavender (calms dry skin), Rosemary Leaf (helps treat acne and promotes circulation), Geranium (has astringent properties), Orange Peal (aid in reducing wrinkles), Roman Chamomile (anti-inflammatory), Rose Flower (helps the appearance of scars), Lavandin (hybrid of lavender and spike lavender which penetrates the skin deeper), and Marjoram Leaf (antioxidants and vitamins).

Tretinol3.  Tretinol Cream – Trentinol is a vitamin that unclogs pores, boosts collagen to help reduce fine lines, and speeds cell turnover to help even out and smooth the skin. I have been using this product for years now and I swear by it. I recommend getting a tretinol prescription for your dermatologist; there are over the counter products that contain Tretinol, however they don’t work as well. I currently use the 0.1 % however you’ll want to start off at a lower dosage to avoid redness, irritation, or flaking of the skin. My skin has improved tremendously since I have been using it and I can see significant changes in the size of my pores and the overall quality of my skin.

Murad4.  Murad Renewing Eye Cream – The Murad Renewing Eye Cream is an intensely hydrating cream that is gentle enough for use on sensitive skin. This eye cream helps reduce puffiness, as it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. No matter what your age, from 18 – 80, we are all going to experience dryness under our eyes as some point. Even though this product is more on the expensive side, a little goes a long way so it will last for quite a while.

Glycolic5.  DDF Glycolic 5% Exfoliating Face Wash – This face wash helps eliminate the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots, as it is great for acne prone skin. The DDF Glycolic face wash contains glycol acid, which breaks down substances that bind dead skin cells to the bottom layer of your skin, which then allows the dead skin cells to be washed away. Even though this product contains glycolic acid, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or irritated.

Queen Helene6.  Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque – This face masque is specifically made for people that have combination to oily skin. Created to draw dirt and impurities out of the pores, this product works wonders in minimizing pore appearance. The Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque dries and hardens on the face, ideal for illuminating small black heads and blemishes. This product is extremely affordable and easy to find!

Dermalogica7.  Dermalogcia Daily Microfoliant – Unlike most typical exfoliates, this is a unique rice based powder that you sprinkle in your hand and activates when mixed with water. This microfoliant contains Salicylic Acid, Rice Enzymes, and Papain that exfoliate dead skin cells leaving the skin smooth. It also contains the added benefits of oatmeal and green tea to help calm the skin.

Hendriksen8.  Ole Henriksen Truth Serum – This serum is packed with vitamin c which gets deep into the skin, targeting problem areas where they begin, as it helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Serums are generally made with smaller molecules so they are able to penetrate the skin far better than just an ordinary moisturizer. With a light citrus scent, this serum leaves your skin feeling hydrated and nourished. The main ingredients consist of: grapefruit/orange extracts (purifying and as an astringent), green tea (protects against damage), rosehips (protects and strengthens), sodium hyaluronate (retains moisture), vitamin c (calms, heals and strengthens the skin), and vitamin e (restores and nourishes).

Clarisonic9.  Clarosonic Mia or Mia 2 – I think all of us have seen the lovely Clarosonic Brushes. I recommend these to everyone regardless of skin type or age, all you have to do is switch out the head to suit your skin type. I use this brush every night with a cleanser and a brush head designed for sensitive skin. It deep cleans without leaving my face feeling irritated. Using this brush once a day will help rid your skin of makeup and impurities, but make sure not to overdo it as it will leave your skin red and flaky.

Dr. Sebagh10.  Dr. Sebagh Deep Exfoliating Mask – I saved this one for last because it is the most expensive out of all of these. Unlike the Queen Helene mask, this one does not harden on your skin. Made with Azelaic Acid, which reduces the growth of bacteria in the follicle of your skin, it reduces inflammation and removes dead skin cells, preventing future breakouts. This is ideal for any skin type, especially for anyone with sensitive skin, rosacea, or acne as it calms and sooths. This face mask does have a slight tingle when you use it, so if you don’t like that you may want to stay away from this.
